What to Expect

During the screen, the therapist will discuss your complaints and how they are limiting or affecting your day-to-day activities. As part of the screen, you will be provided with information regarding your injury, injury prevention and recommendations for additional healthcare services, as appropriate.

* Per federal guidelines, beneficiaries of federally funded insurances (e.g. – Medicare and Tricare) are not eligible for complimentary injury screens. However, a Balance and Fall Prevention screen is permitted.

* Complimentary screens are not applicable if currently attending care.

The Benefits of Physical Therapy Screens

Our screens help you assess your symptoms and the cause, including factors such as motion, strength and flexibility. The screen will take between 15 to 30 minutes, and there is no cost associated with this service. Screens are not a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation or treatment; however, they are performed by a licensed physical or occupational therapist.
